Section 8 Housing,  also knows as the Housing Choice Voucher Program provides "tenant-based" rental assistance, so a tenant can move from one unit of at least minimum housing quality to another.

Listing that are requested to be sent are accepting vouchers unless otherwise noted in the description of the current rental availability listing. Section 8 Housing does not assist tenant with security deposits. If you are on Section 8, the unit you choose must be inspected and approved before Housing will subsidize you. Section 8 determines what you qualify for and how much you will have to pay and how much housing will pay. Section 8 does not set the rent, we do. The Housing Choice Voucher Program determines eligibility payments and how much each party is responsible for. 

Until we have a signed lease and a full security deposit, the unit will remain available for showings and other prospective tenants.
